Blackwell Stables is located in scenic Grand Haven Michigan right off the coast of Lake Michigan about 45 minutes west of Grand Rapids.
As one of the premier Horsemen in the Arabian Community, Nationally Decorated trainer Michele Betten stands at the helm of a beautiful facility where quality always comes over quantity and form is imperative to function.
Alongside trainer Lynn VanDyke, Michele commands a captivating string of some of the most outstanding Western and Hunter horses in the country.
Due to the fact the horse numbers stay to a minimum, much quality time and attention to detail is allocated for each horse. This ensures that every individual reaches his or her maximum potential inside and outside of the show ring.
Michele's amateurs are equally successful in their own right from Scottsdale to Canadian Nationals to US Nationals. This is achieved due to the fact that in her training process Michele likes to create a very user-friendly product. Ultimately this enables her amateurs to succeed time and time again.
Michele Betten is not a fade or a trend. With her attention to detail and compassionate horsemanship she has proved that she is timeless; earning the respect of her clientele, peers and most of all by forming the partnerships she has with her horses.
